Damien meets Queen Sentonya. She’s the dark ruler of all nightmares and the most evil little girl you ever did care to meet. She wants to take over Damien’s dreams, but after seeing what he’s capable of she wants to cut a deal.

Damien is a fifteen year old boy with the incredible power to summon dragons. He’s biracial and has lots of brown freckles on his cheeks and nose. He lose to use swords and flame spells. Damien spends his off hours of dreaming in a large hotel by a beach gazing out at the waves. Even more than that he loves his job. Fighting off evil dreameaters who hope to take over the DreamWorld and turn it into a nightmare for their evil queen Sentonya. This is the story of the first time they met:

Damien gazes out the window of his green hotel room at the ocean. The white sand seems to glow in the sunlight as the blue water looks like Windex hitting the rocks on the edges of the beach. The blue sky riddled with only a few fluffy clouds that look almost like baseballs, footballs, and soccer balls. He sighs taking in all of the beauty of it. He blinks and as he does the sky begins to turn red. It swirls with red and black as the clouds turn gray, and red lightning shoots out of them. The ocean turns red, and as it does strange black lumps seem to head for the shore. They climb out of the water resembling large black rabbits with pointy ears. They look up at Damien and smile revealing large sharp teeth.

Boom! A large pillar of fire comes out of the ground burning the creatures. Damien jumps out of the window of his hotel room and stabs his sword into the ground. A ring of fire surrounds him, and as he rises to his feet the flames make his anger look even scarier. The ring of fire breaks into four separate lines of fire and burns all the Dreameaters that are so unfortunate as to be in its path. He stands up and grabs the hilt of his blade with both hands. He pulls it apart revealing two separate swords. He throws both of them at his right and his left. As they spin through the air cutting the dreameaters in their path they burst into flames. They look like flaming disc they spin so fast. A large flame comes shooting out of his right hand, and turns into another sword.

“You picked the wrong beach.” He swings his blade. A large blade of fire comes out of it and cuts all of the dreameaters it possibly can. “Soar Ignacio,” he yells raising his sword into the air. A large sort of bird comes out of the blade. It spreads it’s wings and cries. It flies higher and higher into the air. It swirls around and heads back to the ground as fast as it possibly can. As it approaches the ground some of the dreameaters seem to sink into the sand. It hits the ground with a bang. The flames spread across the ground. Damien walks of the flames into the water. When the blade of his sword touches the water the hilt turns blue, and the flames on the ground turn blue with it. He swings his blade through the water. A line of the water turns blue. The line heads farther and farther towards the horizon. When it finally does hit the horizon it heads back for Damien in the sky. The sky returns to blue and the clouds turn white. The sand on the beach returns to it’s original white.

“I won’t let anything get the better of me.” A black circle appears in the middle of the visible ocean. Someone begins to clap and a throne rises out of the black circle. A girl sitting in the chair continues to clap. She stops clapping.

“Aren’t we the little impulsive warrior? They were only trying to make this hideous beach into a paradise.”

“They were turning my world into a nightmare,” Damien yells.

“I know that’s what I said.” She rises out of the chair and steps into the water, but she doesn’t sink. “You’re quite the trouble maker aren’t you?’ She takes a step but still doesn’t fall into the ocean.

“Who are you?”

“I believe that I’m the one asking the questions around here.”

“No you’re not! I am!”

“Oh would you please shut up. I’m Queen Sentoya ruler of darkness and future queen of all the realms in this pathetic little hell hole we call existence.” She steps onto the beach. “You’re an obstacle and I don’t like challenges, but then again I’ve never been challenged so that’s a little hard to say. I suppose the correct way to put it would be; I don’t like opposing forces.” She points at Damien and a bolt of red lightning shoots out of her index finger. He jumps to the side dodging the attack. “Well, well you’re really fast aren’t you?” She disappears and reappears behind Damien swinging a sword into his back. Damien’s sword magically appears on his back blocking the attack. “Grrr. I don’t care for dreams very much they always get in my way.” She backs away. Did you know that by allowing others to have dreams you are slowing yourself down?”

“That’s not true.”

“Oh but it is. You see if your dreams are the only ones in existence than you and everyone else has more time for your dreams.”

“Evil can’t be trusted.”

“But it can. You see you can trust evil to do what ever it takes to get the job done. You can trust evil to not let anything get in its way. You can trust evil to make a deal, which is what I would like to do for you. If you join me I’ll leave your dreams the only ones in the entire universe.”

“I’ll have to decline.”

“What,” she yells. Her eyes turn red and her teeth become sharp. “That offer is the best I’ve ever made. You can’t say no to me.”

“Apparently I can. I’ll protect my dreams and everyone else’s if I have to.” He swings his sword cutting her side. Black sand pours out of the cut. “You’re not human,” Damien says.

“This isn’t over Damien Misselo you can bet on that.” A swirling black portal appears behind her. She retreats into the portal. It disappears. “You can bet that I’ll be back Damien Misselo. My offer will still be valid, but if you decline again I’ll kill you.”
