A story where evil wins…
Darkness
Long time ago there was a little village in an unknown land. The village is called Pagus. It has a very strong fortifications and many warriors within. Those warriors has no fear. After none of the world‘s armies defeated Pagus no one attacked them anymore and they lived in peace…
The chieftain of the village is called Ducatoris. He was very clever, but kind of insane. Ducatoris has ruled Pagus over 15 years. He was the strongest and quickest of entire village. But one day he was walking in the forest near his village and he heard a strange noise. He has never heard such sound in his life. It was a bit screaming roar which totally scared the crap out of Ducatoris. All Pagus villagers heard the roar, but they thought it‘s just an animal which can be defeated. But They didin‘t thought that was a sign of new enemy approaching , new enemy to be fought…
Pagus is peaceful village which always wishes peace in a world. And people of the village almost have taken everyone who wants more power. But there is one commander who still wants more power. He was defeated once, but he wasn‘t killed. His name is Creper and he has grown so much powerful, he could escape from prison of Ducatoris where the chieftain imprisoned him. And as Creper realised it he blown the prison which have been deep into the mountains.
The Pagus got stronger too. They now have weapons of steel. Much powerful than iron which was used before. Ducatoris even has some mages.
The chieftain thought about the roar for few days and he realised that he heard it many years before. It was one of the beasts commanded by Creper. He now knows why the roar scared him. But he thinks the prison got rusted and it‘s the only reason why Creper escaped. Ducatoris thinks he can beat him again an chain him into prison again…
So, the war of the dark and light have started, the war of Creper and Ducatoris.
First attack was by Creper. He used only few mages riding on wolves. They were spotted by a guard which screamed “We are under attack!“ and shot one of those mages with his bow. He died form Fire Ball. All guard post was set on fire. After post burned to ashes mages retreated back.
Second attack was by Ducatoris. He used all his units: twenty thousand warriors, fifty mages and seven hundred of archers. When they gone to the blown prison, they saw only ruins of prison, so they decided to turn backs as they didin‘t seen any enemy. After they turned around they saw Creper riding on dragon with one mage on wolf and ten thousand archers beyond them. Mage said “Ignina Letum!“ and warriors with archers started to burn and died. Ducatoris‘s mages zapped with lightning bolt Creper‘s mage and paralysed him. Archers of Creper fired their arrows and killed all the mages. Ducatoris said “Iliuminatio“ and the archers got blind, but he has got scared a little, because Creper hasn‘t got blind. Creper laughed and said “My pet gives me immunity. Dragons makes their riders immune to spells. But their doubles attacks of his riders spells as he attacks too“ then he laughed again and said quietly “Salva Creperum, Salva Ignis, Salva Novicia Agri“ and Darkness took over the light, fire started around them and land reborn from the ashes.
Then Ducatoris was imprisoned almost samely like he was imprisoned Creper, but with much stronger defence from inside which ensured the he would never escape. Ducatoris, the new chieftain of Pagus started ruling those villagers, but made them happier by giving more land to them and giving them a pets which especially made children happier.
Creper wanted more power, but he would never kill innocent people. He only kills those who deserved it. And those who deserved it is those who attacks innocent.
*Darkness can be feared, but if you are not bad, you have nothing to fear, whatever it‘s dark or not.
