In Johannesburg, South Africa, a black hen was recently killed by two hungry crooks. This happened on the Johannesburg Intersection. South Africa is a very poor country with a lot of crime. Many people will do some pretty cruel things for a good meal. A newspaper sales man was held at gunpoint by two hungry crooks. He was forced to lay a trail of bread crumbs for the chicken. The two hungry crooks killed the chicken after it followed the trail of bread crumbs. Some people may say that this is a very cruel thing to do. However, we kill chickens all the time. In South Africa people just have to resort to more extreme methods of hunting. The resources are scarce in this country and I really do not blame the crooks for killing the chicken. Although I really feel the guns were not necessary.
