A romantic-comedy story about the shy girl and the popular guy in the university. How does it make a difference for a Christian girl in a non-sectarian school?

Hello. I am Caitlyn Santos. I became a Christian since I was nine. That was because my father became a Pastor of our Protestant-Christian community church. I grew up in this community where I usually attended Sunday School and youth fellowship group. I also studdied in a Christian church. I have a bestfriend in school named Jackson Ricks whose father is also a pastor like my father. And, we are both going to a non-sectarian university for good quality education. I know this is unusual for us because we are both born again Christians. So, come and let’s hear my story.

It was a Home Coming Assembly Night when the university’s pep squad organized the cosplay party in our school’s basketball gym. By the way, we also have swimming pool inside our school to facilitate the swimming competition and physical education.

I met a new friend in school. She joined the Camera Club. We are both college freshmen. And, she is definitely going to that party. And, my dear bestfriend Jackson Ricks really wanted to be a part of the pep squad. He is also a cheerleader when we were in high school. He is also going to that party.

My father insisted that I should not go because there would be drinking beer in that party. He is afraid if I might get drunk. So, my dear bestfriend Jackson Ricks promised my dad that he would take care of me so I would not get drunk in that party. When my dad gave us an approval to go to that party, I wear an Egyptian Princess costume. And, Jackson Ricks is wearing Darth Vader costume.

There is a contest for all ladies who attended the cosplay party. The winner in best costume would have an opportunity to date the best good looking guy in the university. He is no other than, Red Mathews, the head cheerleader. I really like Red since the first time I see him at that party so I joined the contest.

The contest was like a beauty contest. I see some girls wearing in a fabulous sexy costume like vampires, witches, elves, angels, Frankensteins, and fairies. Some dressed like Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, and Jackie Onassis. I also remembered that Halloween is originated from the Pagan ritual but it is too early for that season and it is just a cosplay party for the Home Coming Assembly Night. The coach of the head cheerleader, Charles Rickson, asked me, “Does your costume represents Cleopatra?”
