This is a short story about a girl’s last wish.
The sky shining with stars like little diamonds of the night. The moon being its brightest tonight creates a beautiful shine on the sea. If you see it, you would think that there were thousands of shining fishes in the sea. The smell of the sea, oh the saltiness and the soft smooth sand that touches and kisses your feet just makes you want to jump in the sea even more.
“Tonight is a beautiful night, isn’t it?” said a voice.
Samantha got supprised and quickly shot up to her feet. She looked around, expecting to see a bulky, muscular guy ready to attack her. But there was no one. Not a single soul on the beach except her.
“What is it that you’re looking for?” the same voice asked.
“Who are you? Show yourself!” Samantha demanded.
“I am down here honey. It is quite strange that I am this big yet you don’t see me,” the voice replied.
Samantha look down and found the owner of the voice. It wasn’t a person who was talking to her. It was actually a dog, a golden retriever. Samantha patted the dog’s head and rubbed its furry body. It’s fur was as soft as a stuffed toy, making Samantha fighting to resist the temptation of hugging the stray dog. Furthermore, a dog that talks in human language. But she was not surprise nor frighten of the dog.
“You don’t seem to be afraid of me,” the dog thought out loud.
“Am I supposed to be scare of you Brandon?” Samantha asked the dog. She sat back to where she was and stared at the moon while it shines its warm light over the clouds hovering nearby.
