This is a short story in which a seed is the vision of GOD’S grace toward men.
DEATH OF AN ANGEL
One sunny day a blue sky was smiling and the wind was sharp. A seed dropped from heaven it was smaller than a fingernail, lighter than a feather and the color of ashes. It pounded against a large dry dirt pile, died and rotted away. Between the time of seed and harvest this dead rotten seed tried to sprout with life but a storm always seemed to be in it’s way. One night an ANGEL was dispersed out of heaven on a assignment to snatch the seed out of it’s grave. Picking the seed up the ANGEL blew life into the seed in fact the breath of the ANGEL was so strong the seed again rested in the ground. The following season the seed began to grow… and grow… and grow… into a large tree full of all kinds of fruit from the hand of the LORD. During a great harvest raindrops soared from the heavens in the size of quarters for an entire month. All plants died and everything hoped for was ruined. Yet, the great tree continued to grow. When the storm ended the people of the village cleared their homes to feast on the fruit of the tree and they all had their full celebrating dancing and singing to GOD…
”GOD sent an ANGEL to heal our land his love is good and his mercy endures forever”.
