He never realized the importance of his farewell photograph with Tanya, now Arjun searches for the answers, unfortunately there is just one person who has them. what started with a dream must end with Revelations, that are going to change his life forever.
this is a story of a discovery.

I considered for a moment getting up, switching on the computer and looking up déjà vu on Wikipedia. ‘chill dude, you’ll have all the time in the world tomorrow’, I told myself.’

“Good night” I quietly said to Sharad, but he was already asleep, leaving me alone with these tantalizing fragments hanging in front of my eyes, that I could not wait to tie up. Sleep, I forcefully told myself, I’ll look up an answer tomorrow. I closed my eyes and started counting slowly. I usually tried this when I was agitated or excited, it always calmed me down. Sure enough, as I moved into the 20s I felt I weighed 500 kgs, there wasn’t a better idea than sleeping.

‘34, 35, 36…’ it had been a long day.

’46, 47, 48, 49…’ one complete month off until college started again. All the novels, food and sleeping the days away, the thought was blissful.

’69, 70, 71, 72, 73….’ BAM

Something had happened. I’d fallen off the bed. I rubbed my elbow, but I realized it didn’t hurt at all. Bemused I turned towards the bedside clock, and stopped in surprise. Where there should have been my round, solid, trusted alarm clock, lay a book, a very old and battered book, with a few torn pages loosely hanging out, the spine wrinkled and broken as if 10,000 hands had opened this book before it ended up here on my bedside table. I stretched my hand towards it, and then I realized it was a diary, it was my personal diary, but that was supposed to be deep in my cupboard where I’d put it after writing tonight, ‘how in the hell did it get in this state?’ .Anger welled up within me, if Sharad had anything to do with this, he is dead. Rhyme and reason don’t often walk hand in hand in my case, but an answer came swiftly. ‘Nobody came near my almirah’ I reasoned with myself’. I turned towards the ancient wooden cupboard, but it wasn’t there. Then things fell into place. This was a dream.

I looked around, the room was sparsely furnished. Next to the table lay my favorite green pen Mom had gifted me last New Years Eve, to pen down my resolutions. Of course I’d broken them all up till now. I picked it up and put it beside the diary. I moved around the room. There was a fantastic feel about it. It felt as if the light blue walls would start whispering any second. The wall at the end had framed photographs on it, many many pictures. Thousands of them spread across its immense width. I moved towards one snap that caught my eye. It was of a group of people by the sea. All of them looked happy and gay after a day in the water. The girl third from left was definitely hot, and that one in the pink top .Though the same could not be said about the guy who had his arm around her waist. I moved to the next person, it was a short man, a little on the chubby side with a wolfish grin on his face, it didn’t suit him. The guy next to him had a digi cam in his hand. This photo had way too many men for my liking. I quickly ran through the other faces and then stopped. Strange as it was the guy in the corner resembled Mohit. ‘Yeah, the watchman resembles Shatrughan Sinha too, so what’. But the one in the centre was way too much like Nishant. I tried to compare my puppy faced 19 year friend with this guy. He looked more like 25, but there was this uncanny similarity, that smile and eyes co-ordination that sets everyone apart, he was just like Nishant.
