A girl who enjoys traveling gets a new begining in France… But was it really the right choice?

It all began in summer 1994, when her parents had her in a hospital in Lyon, France. Her passport was French, and she was mostly French. But that did not change the fact that she had only lived six months in France since birth. When they first left for China, the cardboard boxes were not all emptied… Only the ones with the essentials-such as food and clothes-had been opened, and soon had to be taped up again-need i say more?

In 1995, they were in Shanghai, China. Her father had lived in Taiwan as a teen, therefore he spoke Chinese fluently. Her mother was born overseas, in Diego Suarez, Madagascar just nine years after Madagascar was made officially independent. However, her family moved home in 1971, and her mother never moved back-this had been her only home overseas until she met the girls future father. Her father-unlike her mother-had spread his life all over the world like peanut butter on toast. He showed her how to live a life outside of your home town all over again. So… they lived happily ever after… Kiss, kiss… Blah, blah, blah… But that’s not quite the end of it…

After living in Shanghai, they decided to try somewhere closer to France, and that place was: Brussels, Belgium. The girl went to a school where they spoke French, so she never learnt to speak Dutch or German fluently.

They then moved back to Asia, but this time in China. It wasn’t always easy but they eventually got used to it and how to take care of children, which is why they decided to take on a whole, big family with FOUR children!

The girl was not alone any more,-she had her brothers and sisters-you’d think that was a good thing, but only now did she realize how great it was when she had no siblings, and didn’t have to share, and she had everything to herself, but, you can’t turn back time.

Her father’s work got her living all over China. She had now experienced living in Shanghai, Wuxi, and in Suzhou, where she had the greatest friends in her whole life experience-even better than in Brussels. After the wonderful experience of Suzhou, They moved for the first time, to France. France was so different from China- it was so rich and snobby,

school was so hard, and she always spoke better English than  french, and everyone was so mean and they made racist comments about her just because she had once lived in China. But, like in all countries, there were also friends: friends who were nice; protective; and understanding. So life in France may not have been her best experience, but it was still, definitely a very important part of her life.

Now our story comes to an end; for now at least…

I will not tell you who that girl was, but i will tell you this:

    I am that girl’s brother
