Detective Dodger is on another mission, this time Dodger has to find Mrs. Hen’s baby chick eggs, before the Easter egg hunt starts.
It’s almost time for the Easter parade, thought Dodger.
Dodger loved Easter parades, but what dodger loved the most was the big town Easter egg hunt.
Matter of fact when he was just a few months old he knew he would be a great detective.
Why, you ask?
Well, when Dodger was four months old, the town had a big Easter egg hunt in the town square at least one hundred eggs where hidden all around the court yard.
Guess who found every one of them? Yep, Dodger did!
He then knew he had a wonderful gift for finding lost items and so his quest for detective work begun.
Meanwhile everyone in Clover, Ohio was just as thrilled as Dodger was about the Easter parade.
The pigs dressed their baby pigs in Easter bunny suits for the Easter parade.
The horses put their bells and wreaths around their necks so they would look good pulling the hay rides.
While the sheep made Easter baskets for the children of the town. They used the straw from the cow barn, and used their wool to make the lining of the Easter basket.
Every animal in Clover, Ohio took great joy in decorating the town for Easter.
While all seemed well in the little town of clover, Dodger sensed something wasn’t right.
Dodger was just about to leave for the parade when his dear friend Roscoe came running toward him.
“What’s wrong Roscoe?” asked Dodger.
“Oh gosh Dodger, you have to come with me right away,” Roscoe said.
“Calm down Roscoe, what is it?” Dodger asked.
“Dodger, I know you’re busy getting ready for the parade, but Mrs. Hen has lost her chick eggs!” Roscoe said, “You need to come to the hen house right away, Dodger!”
“Ok Roscoe, I’m right behind you,” said Dodger.
They finally reach the hen house, and see Mrs. Hen crying.
“Oh poor Mrs. Hen, tell us what happened?” Asked Dodger.
“Well, I left the nest for just a moment so I could get ready for the parade and when I came back my chick eggs were gone,” Mrs. Hen say’s sadly. “Oh Dodger, please help me find my chick eggs.”
Oh gosh, Mrs. Hen, you don’t worry about a thing. Dodger will find them and bring them back safe!” Roscoe exclaimed.
“Yes Roscoe’s right, just don’t worry, I’ll find them.” Dodger asked “How many eggs did you have?”
