Sally Holmes and Robert Meeks are on a cruise with the Royal Caribbean.  Robert is married and is attracted to Sally, that is single.  In the last episode, Gently In a Web, both Sally and Robert were moved by their previous encounter and their night was filled with thoughts about each other.  Two prominent ones being, that Robert was a married man with his wife Jennifer, and his children Amanda and Jeffrey, plus the fact that they had just met and knew little of each other. Having seen each other once again, on the next morning at breakfast, Sally was alarmed at her reaction in his presence.  She unexpectedly mentioned that she was going to go to the Bacardi Rum Factory on an excursion trip to Puerto Rico.  Robert showed up to be with her, engaged  her in a conversation, and Sally agreed with some hesitation to be friends with him, while asking, “Do you love your wife?”  Robert quickly changed the subject and suggested that they visit the Bacardi Gift Shop.

While at the shop, the conversation shifted as they browsed through many items.  Robert and Sally laughed at some of the funny Bacardi clothing, accessories, and souvenirs.  Robert picked up six bottles of Bacardi rum, and  asked Sally, “Can I at least buy you a gold bottle?  The treat is on me.”

She eyed the price and responded, “No, thank you.”

“It’s fine.  No strings attached, but just to us.”

“That’s scares me.” Sally replied quickly.  ”You know why?”

“Oh, you seem to worry too much.  Let’s enjoy this moment being together.”

With his package in hand.  They both left to wait for their respective buses.  But before doing so, Robert said, “Here’s my business card with a cell phone number where you can reach me.”
