DISCOVERY FLOOPATOPIA

Where there is a place called Gumnut Village, there is a group of friends that live in Australia. One of them is a koala and his name is Slump. He lives at the top of

a gum tree where there are some juicy gum leaves for his breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert. His name was Slump because it’s crossed between sleepy and lump. And who got that idea for that name? His friend, of course! He was a kangaroo named Jump De Doo. He was from Paris, the land he called his home. His habitat was the lush grasslands. For his meals he ate grass. Even though he liked eating pellets, he couldn’t find them anywhere. He had to live without pellets for the rest of his Me. Back to trie name calling, 1 have to say it was a pretty good name because it described who Slump was. As they were friends, they both had three more friends and they were Tabmow, Flap and Emelia and there was a reason for each name. The reason for Tabmow’s name was if you read his name backwards it spells wombat. We called our friend the platypus Flap because his tail always flaps while he’s swimming. The last reason is that you can nearly find emu in Emelia’s name. One day they were walking along in Gumnut Village when they spotted a weird looking creature. They decided to welcome their visitors. Off they went crossing from Gumnut Village into a different place altogether. A sign read ‘Floopatopia’. Now that they knew that they weren’t visitors after all, they were going to run back home. “But this world was so fascinating,” Jump De Doo cried out. “Look, the creature is eating Easter eggs! It’s green with yellow polka dots.” The chairs were made with clouds that were fluffy and white. It smelt of fresh mint leaves because there were lots of mint bushes. In the sky you would always see a multi coloured rainbow. There was a waterfall with crystal clear water. These creatures got the green and yellow spotted Easter eggs from a tree. All of a sudden, the creatures started approaching the Aussie animals. The friends were suddenly a bit frightened. Then all at once, the creatures they never knew started talking. “Hello, we are the tribe of the Flubber-Floop’s. We welcome you to Floopatopia.” “Thank-you very much, our names are Slump, Jump De Doo, Tabmow, Flap and I’m Emelia.” Then the Flubber-Floop answered, “My name is Bubbles.” After a long chat, Bubbles finally invited his new friends to supper. Slump ate some gum leaves. Jump De Doo took in the lovely flavour of some pellets. Tabmow tried the green with yellow spotted Easter eggs and Flap and Emelia did the same thing.
