This is a story of a man who fathered a child and found out three years later that the mother claimed the child was her dead husband’s. The story takes place in 1993 when all hell breaks loose. It is all true and has much violence, action and will keep you on the edge of your seat as you read it, as it is an all-out assault between two adults that are so angry at each other it’s a wonder they lived through it… This is “Dominance and Submission”.
He got out of the Nova to see that the LeMans was completely reconditioned with paint, interior, new wheels and trim. The Black Lacquer paint was flawless and so was the leather interior. The convertible top had a leather headliner and all the gauges were digital. This was unheard of at this point in time and special ordered. It cost $600.+ just for the gauges, not counting installation. The stereo system was an advanced model, including a separate component cassette deck and equalizer with the most advanced speakers on the market, all driven by Pioneer.
He opened the hood to a 400ci. Engine with chrome to the hilt and custom air breather, sporting a lightweight element, very advanced for the period.
All the wires were hidden away along with the distributor and all of its components. In fact, there were no wires visible under the hood. Jake had to check his watch to make sure it was 1976.
Jake brought the car back home and Cathy, the Nova. She didn’t care for the Nova that much because it had the “Big Block” engine in it with a lot more power than the Vette and could get away from you if you weren’t careful. All you had to do was press the gas peddle lightly and the rear tires would scratch the pavement.
At the wheel, Jake was driving good and loving his new 69’ Pontiac LaMans Convertible. It was so smooth and tight like a new car. All of his senses were reeling and it got to be a little overwhelming. His heart started that palpitation again. He slowed the car down and came to a stop with Cathy right behind him. He sat in the driver’s seat totally blacked out for about a minute and a half and then came back to life again, taking deep breaths. Cathy came to his door and tapped on the glass.
“You alright baby?” She asked him.
“Yah, sweetie.”
“What happened?”
“Oh, nothing.”
“You sure, you don’t look so good.” She said with concern and a very serious look on her face.
“No baby, I’m okay.” He said as he took another deep breath.
“Let’s go…” He said, and put the car in drive with his foot on the break.
