A fictional origin of donkey.
Long time ago, there was a very rich don named Don Kee. He inherited one of the biggest estate in the region. Initially, he was a very benevolent landlord.
However, the more he socialized with the other Dons, the more he learned about how the other Dons managed their properties and the tenants. He found that even though he has the most property, he was the poorest among the landlords.
He started imitating their way of managing the farmers and started raising the rent on the land. Whenever any of the farmers could not pay, they were tortured and put to jail. Those who paid did not have enough leftover to feed their family.
One day, one of the arrested farmers escaped. The property was close the forest where ArcStone lived. The farmer had heard of stories of a benevolent wizard in the mystical forest close by and went there for help.
After much pleading, ArcStone gathered some of the animals and helped free the farmers from the tyranny of Don Kee. Soon Don Kee was defeated and caught. The animals wanted to kill Don Kee but one of the farmers pleaded for leniency since they remembered his more benevolent beginning.
Don Kee regretted what he had done and agreed to turn a new leaf. He was willing to accept punishment for his misdeeds. He asked to be turned into a horse to roam his land. Unfortunately, ArcStone was not a very good wizard and Don Kee did not look quite like a horse.
