Dreams. Why does it seem so far-fetched? Nowadays, people do not care anymore. If they do, they settle for something simpler, something easier to achieve. Some do not bother. A few attempts, a few failures, and they give up; afraid of more heartaches.

Dreams. Why do people have this? Picture the world without dreams. Picture life without dreams. Picture you without dreams. What do you think the world – your life – will become without it? Maybe, there’ll be no hardships, disappointments, heartaches, tears. But maybe, there’ll be nothing to celebrate about life. You’re just going to be one among the others. No distinctions, nothing special. There’ll be no Albert Einstein, Abraham Lincoln, Michael Jackson, Oprah, and Bill Gates. There’ll be no television, cellphone, cars, airplanes. Maybe life will be its exact opposite.

Dreams. It creates the very world you’re living in. And if you’ll allow, it will define the very you. Isaac Newton didn’t create the light bulb overnight. And so did all the other inventors and huge people. You don’t mix up dreams and overnight miracle. Dreams require hard work. You will encounter walls along the way. That’s a given. These things only prepare you for the next big thing. Success is a million times sweeter whey you’ve overcome those barriers. And only then will you know the true meaning of fulfillment, and perhaps life itself.
