His mom was a dwarf and his dad was a midget. But he was a gnome, just like his grandfather. His parents did not believe that he could possibly be a gnome, a fairy tale character just like his grandfather claimed he was. But he was; no matter how long his parents bickered about it, he knew it was true! He read a lot to find out what a gnome looked exactly like and he was what the books said a gnome was. He was a stubby boy with huge feet! His shoe size was 16, and he’s only 5 years old! He also had the big cone hat that is grandfather made for him, but he didn’t have the beard, he was working on a goatee. One day when Aaron (the gnome boy) went to visit his grandfather he saw a little boy out in the street that looked almost identical to him. He thought nothing of a little boy his size so he looked away from him and at an immense weeping willow tree. When he got to his grandfather’s house he saw the old man hustling out of the house. Aaron went up to him and said in confusion “Where are you going?” The hurried old man replied, “I did not get you anything to eat so I’m going to go to the store” “Do mind staying here alone?” “I mean the store’s practically across the street” Grandpa whispered. Aaron said “No” and went inside.
After a while at his grandfather’s home he got bored and decided to go outside. As soon as he did he fell asleep on the soft grass. When he awoke he found himself in a day care area. He stood up and looked around at the babies and toys then thought back to the boy he saw on the street that looked just like him. Of course they mistook him for the missing baby! He looked around carefully and noticed a banana shaped purple thing, spilled cheese strips, a baby on top of a deflated red ball, a chair, and another baby behind a big block staring at him. Then he opened a window and yelled out to his worried looking grandpa with a band of other gnomes looking for him. His grandfather came to pick Aaron up with the real baby they were looking for and they all went home.
