”So, none of us have to work tomorrow morning… Right”?

    “Well, I wouldn’t say that. I have to work at 10a.m and I can’t afford to be late”.

   “Girl, you minds well stay up now. It’s only 9p.m now”.

   That was a normal Friday night conversation. It always started with a suggestion then another person tried to talk everyone out of it with the word “WORK”. Many of us go to work day in and day out in a state of mind that should most likely be left at home. Guess you can call those of us that do so, “Functional Addicts”. Addicted to whatever we may encounter throughout a period of time.

   “Ok, since weed has gotten kind of boring I think we all should step it up a notch”.

   “Step it up? I do admit I be pretty high off weed, so what do you mean by a step up?”

   “Have you ever popped a pill before?”

   “uhhh.. what like Tylenol?”

   “No I mean like a “E” pill. I’m not saying we will take a whole one since this “Blue Monkey” is very potent. We will split this four ways. Same time.”

   “Are you sure I’m going to be alright with this? I mean I know all of you guys have been off the pill but I never did it. Plus I don’t even take any sort of medicine. How would that affect me?”

   “Don’t worry about it. We all got each other tonight. Whatever happens, happens but we will be cool. Just remind your self that your only high. OH AND THAT WE NEED TO TAKE WATER! LOL, CAN’T BE ALL THIRSTY,”

   “Count of three everybody take it together… ONE, TWO, THREE…

   At that point, everyone threw their heads back and took their small portion of the blue pill.

   Two hours later: “This is my first time and I really don’t feel it. How am I suppose to feel?”

   “I don’t know it’s all different. But I know I’m high. Look I have another we can split. Your little self can have the bigger piece this time.”

   Once again everyone popped the pieces of the pill. This time it was going to kick in faster for the little friend that couldn’t feel it. She didn’t know what to expect from this little blue portion. It was going to be a ride of her life.
