In the dizzy area of highland, mountaineers become dizzy and everyone there tries to quit the area quickly and it is a story of one of them.

After enjoying his mountaineering on the highland of Himalaya, a professor and his team were going down to a village.  There was a spot of the highland which they should walk through. People called it dizzy area or dizzy spot because mountaineers got dizzy when on that spot. I do not know why. Maybe, it was caused by the minimum oxygen, air pressure, or fatigue.

All mountaineers including the professors walked in rush when they were on dizzy spot.  They wanted to leave that spot as fast as they could and get to the stopping point. As the professor was elder than another mountaineers, he could not as fast as the other did.  The other left him behind but the professor had strong will and he were walking quicker and quicker, ignoring his dizziness and fatigue.

“Hey, old man!  Why are you walking so fast?”

He looked at who was speaking. He was surprised to see a yeti talking to him. Perhaps, it was a hallucination as his brain reaction to stress, cold, and lack of oxygen.

“Hi, hairy man! I want to pass this bad experience as soon as possible. I want to quit from this dizzy area. I want to reach the village quickly, take a rest, and enjoy life. I don’t want to stay longer in this suffer and pain,” said Professor.

“I know everybody wants to leave this uncomfortable condition quickly. Rush and haste will only waste your energy.  Rush and haste will make you more tired.  Just relax. Take long breath gently and lovingly. Walk normally or slowly and enjoy your walk.  Although in difficult situation, sometimes you need to enjoy and appreciate it,” said the yeti.

Professor smiled. He remembered old saying from his country: “Don’t sweat extremely to live in your life. Do but don’t be extreme.”

When he tried to look at the yeti, he saw nobody there.  The yeti disappeared.

“In this difficult situation, I shall keep doing something, continuing my steps, but I shall not rush,” said the professor in his mind.

The professor decided to follow what the yeti had said as the yeti was native of the highland. He smiled at himself and continued walking slowly, breathing gently, and enjoying his journey.

Yes, he walked slower than his friends did. Yes, his friends reached faster to the village. When he got to the village, he was stable and able to breathe lovingly. He saw his friends felt so tired. Some of them lost their consciousness because they had wasted their energy to escape from dizzy area in a rush. The professor did not see any smile at his tired fiend’s face but he still could smile because he had saved his energy. In some case, speed is necessary but sometimes rush can raise another problem. People in uncomfortable condition tend to quit quickly. However, sometimes, many things need process and rush may waste the energy.

Rush can raise frustration. We need to relax in doing something.
