(Starting “Everyday Life”…)

What’s up everyone!?

Welcome to “Everyday Life!”  You are probably wondering what is “Everyday Life” about and what the heck is with the (1/365) and I will get to that in a minute.  First I want to tell you a little about myself and maybe some details that may be important down the road.  I am 28 years old and I live in Hartford, Connecticut.  I currently own a multi-family home and I have owned businesses in the past (restaurants to be specific).  The economic times got me too so the restaurants are no longer in business but I still have the house and currently live on the 3rd floor with my girlfriend Kendra and our two dogs; Paris who is a husky lab mix and Charlie who is a chocolate lab.  After realizing how much hard work and dedication being in business for yourself was and that most of the time it was more risk then reward I have decided to suck it up and go back to college.  So after ten plus years in the work force I find myself sitting in a Capitol Community College classrooms.  My car broke down about 7 months ago and I’m waiting for some money to come in from a business deal that went sour two years ago so I take the CT Transit bus line to get to class Monday-Thursday; other then that I’m usually at home, smoking weed, doing homework and kind of just hanging around.  I’m enjoying not having to work 80 hours a week.  So the first couple of days go by that I’m in class and we had a few papers to write.  Come to find out my teacher really likes my writing and because of that I started to enjoy to write.  I started researching where I could write on the web to find out where I could go, write and people would give me their feedback.  I came across a website that publishes your writing for you; it will put it on a website (that is how you came across this) and the reader is able to make posts and communicate with the author.  Now this is big and I want to make this clear “Everyday Life” is NOT a journal and is completely OPINION.  What I have decided to do with my chance to write and for people to read is, I will make 1 article a day about something that happened to me throughout that day for 1 year.  OK, remember that (1/365), that is the day since I started this “blog”.  So today is 2/9/2012 and is day 1 out of 365, so tomorrow will be “Everyday Life (2/365)” and so on.  It will be simple if you have come in the middle to go back and read the story and maybe go forward as well.  Each article will come with a title inside the content.
