Vienbilsi is a unusual man, filled with many twists and turns in his personality. He is reclusive, almost misanthropic, creating beautiful art he dare not let another soul see. Put up to it by a bet from his nervous friends, a young man enters Vienbilsi’s fortress and lays eyes on the man for the first time. He will have much to tell his friends.

EYE OF THE BEHOLDER
I remember feeling terribly sad when I heard that Vienbilsi had died. I don’t mean a perfunctory sadness, like the loss of a fifth cousin of your next door neighbor’s mother. It was a genuinely deep hurt that affected me greatly.
