Way to keep the reader provoked...I will spend time thinking about what the waterwhirl is and when I get it I will be proud of myself! You did a nice job of introducing conflict and tension but Flick remained calm with every challenge and let the readers know his problem-solving techniques along the way. I recommend this short story for children so they can learn my Flick's example and model Flick's approach when faced with similar scary challenges. Keep cool headed, think it through and take action.
