In Kirundi, the language is rich in significations. This means for example that you are warned by certain words about dangerous for example by the verb kurya which means to eat. In Kirundi you can say kwirya which means to be proud of and there is also the expression kurya uwundi umwicayeko which means to abuse someone and all these words are from the verb kurya and finally one of the things children learn in Burundi is to avoid cannibals.

You think about someone you like

and one day you realize you have to think

about the other people around you like

yourself because you do not know what they think.

Therefore, think about yourself

and about how you are going

to be when someone like yourself

talks about you but not cooperating.

That is what freedom is about

to let the others be themselves

and to know about

what you are yourselves.

For there are many things to

do and many things to eat

and drink if you like too

and that is how populations eat.
