“What did he mean no matter what the cost?” Destiny said as she limped into the foyer. Jessica looked down in shame thinking he was referring to her pregnancy. She then wanted more so to cry then ever before. “What’s wrong?”

“Nothing here let me help you.” Jessica said as she helped Destiny to one of the pews. The two sat down as Blaike held the elevator door open.

“So what happened to you?” Jessica asked fighting back pain from what David had just said.

“I don’t remember much. All I remember is that I was waiting for you guys to come back and suddenly I was back at my body.”

“So they brought you back?” Jess asked as her sorrows begin to slip away.

“Yeah. When I came to I was in some sort of small room on a table hooked up to machines. I guess it was like a hospital, but I seen them open a door and behind it was just a bunch of jars and stuff.” Destiny asked as she rubbed her legs.

   “I wonder why?”

“Because they wanted her to open the books I bet.” David said as the great doors closed behind him loudly. During which he noticed the sun gleaming down through the painted glass of the windows causing him to stop and smell the roses. He followed the light with his eyes and found the roses becoming sweeter as he gazed upon his colorfully lit love. This caused the situation to roll from his back for a brief moment.

“What should we do about this elevator dude?” Blaike asked. Monk turned his head towards Blaike as reality set in.

“If we are being followed lets find a way to lock it up here, so that they will be forced to climb.”

   “Right but how dude?”

“I say we take one of these broken down pews and slide it in your place.” David then turned to Jessica as he continued, “Baby will you hold the door open till we get one in place?”

“Sure.” Jessica replied with a smile as she stood from the pew and walked over to the elevator.

“Thanks babe.” David said with a kiss as she passed. He slid his hand across the arch of her back there after.
