Franklin never moved house, and he stayed in the same town. As her grew up. Every day he saw them at school, and he always played with them at home. But when one of his friends Beaver got a new computer game, he didn’t think about anything – or anyone – else.

One day at school, the problem started, Bear wanted to play tag. Beaver said “I’m going to play Dam Builders on my computer so count me out”.
“I have to tidy my room so I can’t play either” said Franklin. Bear asked Franklin “what about our soccer practise?” And Franklin promised that he would be there.

Beaver walked home together with Franklin. Beaver would never stop chatting about Dam Builders. “May I watch you play because I can tidy my room later?” Franklin asked. “I need to concentrate so only if you keep quiet” replied Beaver. But the trouble started when they got to Beavers house, Franklin couldn’t   keep quiet. “Watch out! No! Go that way! Look out! He cried. Beaver was getting frustrated so he glared at him. Franklin finally asked for a turn. “Wait, until I get to the swamp monster” Beaver answered. But Beaver’s mother said it was suppertime a minute later. She told Franklin that he could come back later.

Franklin ran as fast as he could. He made his room clean and then gobble up his supper. He ran back to Beaver’s house when he finished. “That was quick!” exclaimed Beaver’s mother “We’re not quite finished eating yet.            “It doesn’t matter, While Beaver’s eating I can play Dam Builders” replied Franklin excitedly. He started the game; it wasn’t long until he got up to level two.  When Beaver finished eating his supper, he sat down next to Franklin “It’s my turn now” said Beaver. But Franklin just argued back “but I’m nearly past the part where the swamp monster comes”. “So I let you have a turn when I was at that part” said Beaver angrily. Just then, Beavers mother asked if they could help was the dishes. But however Franklin kept playing.
