The imaginary town of Fruitvale may have a problem.  The citizens of Fruitvale seem to believe something has contaminated their water supply.  Strawberry Creek has an odd odor to it and my cousins neighbor’s dog, Jo-Jo, has been getting sick and he often plays in the creek.  Someone has been throwing trash down the banks of the river at the north end and the old chemical factory has shutdown as well there have been many more houses, stores, and parking lots being built.  The citizens of Fruitvale are trying to figure out what actually happened to make the water contaminated.

I think the large amounts of trash being put into the banks of the river is causing the water to be contaminated because Jo-Jo has been getting sick and there are a lot of things dogs shouldn’t eat that go into our trash that he may be eating.  Solving this may be a problem because no one knows who is putting the trash in the water. To solve the problem of trash in the river I would fence in the trash at the north end of the river and I would put a net in the water to stop the flow of trash, but still let the water continue on.   I would also put a camera overlooking the river banks to see if you could catch the person who is throwing the trash into the banks.
