Easy riddles. Age 8 and higher:

There are 3 steakes for 2 sons and 2 fathers to eat. Each of them get their own steake. How is it numerically possible?

ANSWER: There are one son, one father, and one granfather.

Why do chickens lay eggs?

ANSWER: Because they don’t wanna get cocky.

Harder. Age 12 and higher:

No sooner spoken than broken. What is it?

ANSWER: Silence.

I am a three digit number. My ones digit is five less then my tens digit. My hundreds digit is eight less than my tens digit. What number am I?

ANSWER: 194.

Medium difficulty. Age 14 and higher:

Which vehicle is spelled the same backwards and forward?

ANSWER: Racecar.

Tommy gave Brad as many dollars as Brad started out with. Brad then gave Tommy back as much as Tommy had left. Tommy then gave Brad back as many dollars as Brad had left, which left Tommy broke and Brad with a total of $80.00. How much did Tommy and Brad have at the beginning of their exchange?

ANSWER: Jenny had $50 and Ally had $30.

Harder. Age 16 and higher:

You are sitting in front of a garden with one lightbulb inside it. You cannot see if it is on or off. Outside the room there are 3 switches in the off positions. You may turn the switches any way you want to. You stop turning the switches, enter the garden and know which switch controls the light bulb. How?

ANSWER: You turn 2 switches on and leav one switch off and wait about a minute. Then enter the garden, but just before you enter, turn one switch from on to off. Once in the garden, feel the lightbulb – If it’s warm, but off, it has to be the last switch you turned off. If it’s on, it has to be the switch left on. If it’s cold and off, it has to be the switch left in off position.

A man went on a trip with a lion, a sheep, and a cabbage. He came upon a river which he had to cross and found a tiny boat to use to cross the river. He could only take himself and one other – the lion, the sheep, or the cabbage – at a time. He could not leave the lion alone with the sheep or the sheep alone with the cabbage. How does he get all safely over the stream?

ANSWER: Take the sheep over first and come back. Then take tha lion over and bring the sheep back. Now take the cabbage over and come back to get the sheep. Take the sheep over and the job is done.

Hard difficult. Age 18 and higher:

A Dog has more hair than a cat. That is the reason why they lay on their side to keep themselves warm during cold days! Do you know which side of these creatures have more hair?

ANSWERE: Outside.
