Last year i got a date to obtain my USA visa, i never  have gone to the USA, i mean not as a wet, “mojado”, as many other latin people did, i never liked this idea, to pay $3000 USD to cross the line. Many people has lived in the USA, they get back and then, they pretend to get the visa to cross legaly, and of course, keep working, something irregular.

Anyway, that’s what consul nows, they wait for the applicant on a defensive way, they now beforehand, based in their procedurs, guides, that any latin applicant what really wants is to live or work in the USA, so is hard for people like me to convence to the consul that i just want to go for vacations, pleassure or some kind of bussines.

So, the first time i did i few mistakes on the application sheet, i got i little nervous and there was not a “plan”, a complete schedule of my trip to the USA.

As i’m a entrepreneur, i could get the visa anyway, but the consul told me: “as you have only 3 years with your company, your visa is not approved, you have to wait one or two more years”. It was so annoying for me because my intention wasn´t to live or work, so i thought: “never will request for a visa to this country, i will go to other”. Was angry.

As i make and sell mexican and western articles, horse tacks, leather purses, spurs and much more, of the best quality available in Mexico, i thought in to get some partners from the USA, some american citizen as called and e-mail me about my work and articles they have watched at my website, so they are interested to buy me somethings, but also they want to know my work, so a important coming up event (december) in the USA is a very good opportunity to go and show my work: the rodeo finnals at Las Vegas. Let’s try to get the visa again.

Got the date and i start to get ideas in the internet: how to get the american visa. Many offers: Get your american visa, pay only $100 USD for the guide, for sure.  But i found a couple honest feedbacks, in personal blogs and this was their recommendations:

1. Be honest of what will you do in the USA, your information and everything.
2. Stay calm down, relax, answer just what they ask to you, don´t try to convince them, no explanations.
3. Show that you want to come back to your country, that you gain enought money, that you are student (if is the case).
4. Bring all the information possible as bank statements, personal ID, properties documents, tax card and any other paper that support what you say, if you have childrens, you are married, if you are owner of companies, only if you are going for pleassure, bussines or trips.

There’s other kind of Visa: Working visa, corporate visa, urgent visa, medical and other, for this you need different applicantions that you can find at your local american consulate.

Yes, this time i got it, it has been so pleasant for me because it is right, i just want go to bussines and to know many of the USA cities.
