Prosperity

God said to me one day as I sat on the module with the Juvenile offenders and he promised me to be a part of the American Dream. It is one of my dreams to write books, do shows, movies, music, websites, schools and programs. I am Joel the Heralder. I will tell it  to you just as I see it. You can agree or not. Behind my stories are one message of hope, love, faith and hard-work.  Having a vision is one thing but being able to keep track of it is something that has made the difference in making words in my head, onto a page come to life. The difference will equate to my success and God’s ultimate will for my life. Imagining freeing my mind and freeing my family from economic bondage. I’m doing and pursuing these things. I pray I never lose sight of Christ’s sake in my life from whom all blessings flow.  

Fight the Good Fight

Why fight for bread ? Have I been starved to the point of bestiality? Am I really an animal just because I live in the cages of jails, projects and inner city blues; we’ve all been enslaved. Stealing seems like the only way. For me earning through contract is the real way. The old bait and switch tactic is how most of us fight and die for our bread. Why shouldn’t we live for our bread? I’ll just make the world think that I’m only a thug and player and rhyme sayer… How about becoming my own original brand line of product? Live!!! Based off of ten talents how many can I make money without debasing myself our my brother? Why sit idle while the enemy is busy? Why kill mine or your brother when the enemy is near? MONEY IS NOT OUR FRIEND!!!!!!!!!! IT IS A TOOL!!!!!!!!! But we do have to eat. Let us work against defeatism and self-hatred. Let us walk by faith and work hard to create more common interests to turn into commonwealths. 

Thanksgiving

This is the first principle of my heart. It is often overlooked and sometimes is why I’m ungrateful. Being thankful for what I do has helped me to be humble and content. Stressing over the things I don’t have stresses me out. I am thankful for the Awesome God whom I serve. My service is why I live. I am thankful that he doesn’t take me for granted even though I taken Him for granted. It is my desire to be an instrument in God’s hand that will help people learn to love his decrees and his ways about how we should treat each other. His way for our lives as individuals dictates how we fit into the Body of Christ which is now the present universe. Everything outside of Christs New Body is the Father. My humanity is the only element containing God’s Spirit anymore. Unfortunately it is hard to tell in the church and in the world. I would anticipate that my focus should stay on my study and prayer teaching and practice of true love, being thankful for the complicated and the frivolous situations that surround me. Thankfulness yields satisfaction and peace.
