George saw his father again and he watched as his father turned his back from the mortal world to save Trandoz.
Back to the Past: Farrell’s Return
He walked into forward into the light. He’s about to cross into the mortal world. I must follow him….
“Ugghhhfff…” I heard Gilderoy exclaimed as I finally opened my eyes. The teleportation was fast. One second, I was just behind Gilderoy and the next second, I was finally in the world of mortals, my world.
With the sound of his movement, I could sense that Gilderoy was trying hard to bend over so his head would not hit the ceiling. Where are we? I asked myself. It was dark. There was no opening. It was like we were on a deep cell.
“Now, what’s next Gilderoy?” I heard him ask his self while sniffing. I heard him dusting himself. “How will I beckon Farrell?” he asked his self again.
Even in the darkness of the room, I was aware that he was having difficulties with stretching out. I knew the room was too small for him. He stretched his leg and arms only to knock his head on the wall. It made a loud sound. A sound I was sure loud enough for anyone behind the wall to hear and sense that something was wrong in the room.
I could hear low sound of discussions from behind the walls of the dark room and seconds later, there were footsteps and suddenly, light after a rough sound of a door opening few meters in front of us. An image of a man was standing in the door blocking the light.
“Gilderoy?” The familiar voice struck me. I couldn’t be wrong. It was dad. He reached out his hand on the right side wall of the door and the fluorescent lit up the whole room. We were on our basement. I was back in the basement.
“Dad? Is something wrong there? Do you need help?” I heard a familiar voice of a boy and everything then flashed back.
Three years ago…
“How was school George? You’re mom said you applied as a photo journalist for your school paper. Did you pass?” Dad asked me when I walked into the dining room and took my sit right next to my younger brother Glenn and just a half meter away from him.
