I had the most miraculous dream last night. I was flying through buildings and concrete – on a serious mission! I dove and swooped like a show jet or Hummingbird. I had super-human powers like x-ray vision and the ability to change any given scene or scenario at any time if it wasn’t on my agenda. I had a captain, of course, or maybe it was a Higher Power ground control. She was a female, with a soft, soothing voice.

As I flew from place to place in my dream, I knew intuitively where to go, what I needed and what had to be done. However, at times there were things beyond my control that blurred my vision or set me off course. For example, I was flying to go pick up a friend when a group of boys called out and startled me into a panic. I immediately called in to the Higher Power and she’d give me fast advice on how to weather the storm. At high speeds, sometimes I couldn’t steer straight or see ahead of me. Again, I’d call out to this Higher Power, take her advice and be back in flight again.

I woke up and realized how profound my dream was. It clearly illustrated that I am purely a spiritual being on a spiritual path. Every action I took, every idea I had was all part of the higher purpose. Like being in the cockpit of an airplane, or even better; help is with me at all times – experiencing every ride that I was. I became aware that the Higher Power is not a vague notion or my last minute emergency option. It is always with me, inside of me; watching me – ready to direct me.  I can stay in conversation throughout my flight and never have to be without it.

Another point of interest is that just the ‘Being’ of who I am intuitively knows what the next right action is, how to solve puzzles and can quickly identify needs. In my human body and mind, that is something I struggle with immensely. Not only are the majority of my thoughts lost in negative cycles that keep me off course, most of the time I rarely notice ! If this dream is an expression of who and what I am as a being, I believe that anything not on the flight route must be distraction for a collision course. What will make me rely on the captain for advice?
