A poem about two men who love eachother enough to swap aids and keep on living despite the odds.

I knew that I loved him from the very first touch

His heart was golden and bright

I knew he had aids but that didn’t matter

His sex was still a delight

The only way he would love me forever

Is if I agreed to get aids

All the condoms went in the trash

then I went and got myself laid

After a month and a positive test

He knows I love him the most

Because I have his aids I’m happy to say

So hold up your glass for a toast

I wanted this poem to end

But they said its much to short

I’ll take this time to say

Thanks for being a sport

I know aids isn’t a joke

It’s a serious cause

I should just go kill myself

Then I’ll get a round of applause

Everyone with aids

Pat yourself on the back

Your as brave as troops

Returning home from Iraq
