This is a story of two friends, Claire and Jane, who grew up together, who went at the same schools, they fight each others enemies and basically a friendship that can never be broken by anything. At least that’s what they thought of when a guy suddenly barged into their lives and one day they just realized that they can never be friends until one turns her back to the guy they both love.
Rain started pouring as tears fell from her (Jane) eyes. From this point in time all she could do is to break her True Love’s heart.
A kiss. A passionate kiss from a man whom he never even loved. And from that scene, Ben appeared out of nowhere looking stunned of what he saw. With a snap of a finger, Todd is now on the floor with Ben beating him to death.
With that scene, Jane felt dizzy and fell to the floor.
Ben: “Jane!”. He shouted. While holding her on her arms he saw Claire at the door with a grin on her face.
At this point, Jane just wished that she could turn back time when all they cared was friendship.
(A Glimpse of the Past – Middle School)
Claire: I hate staying at home especially that my step mom is living with us now.
Jane: Don’t be so hard on her Claire, it’s not really her fault that your Dad fell in love with her.
Claire: That’s not the point Jane. She’s like a girl version of Satan. And today she hit me with a newspaper. Didn’t you saw her do that?!
Jane: That was an accident Claire. Besides who will be beaten up to death with a newspaper.
Claire: Well I do! Besides there are no accidents in my world Jane.
Jane and Claire were laughing when they saw a boy by the riverbank being bullied by Claire’s brother Todd and his gang. Claire then pushed the guys immediately.
Claire: Don’t you guys have anything to do with your lives! If you don’t stop this Todd then expect that you’d be bidding goodbye to your summer vacation!
Todd: Gee sister! Are you my mother with less boobs or something! We were just having fun.
Claire: What did you say?!
From that, Claire rolled up her sleeves and made a fist with both her hands. She looked really scary that her brother and his friends started running equally pissed and scared.
Jane: Don’t worry little kid. They won’t bully you again. Todd is very much scared with his sister.
After running so hard with rage, Claire went back to Jane and the boy.
Claire: I’d get him a beating if I could but unfortunately I’m his sister and according to my biological mother I should be a role model to him blah blah.
Jane: But weren’t you trying to beat him up just now.
Claire: Oh no Jane, that is what you call LOVE.
Jane: Oh Claire. Here little kid, let me help you.
Jane stretched her hand towards the boy but instead of accepting it, he slapped her hand away from him and walked away.
Claire: Hey wait a minute! We saved your butt from them and all we get is this rotten manners of yours?!
Boy: I didn’t ask for your help. Don’t meddle with my business if you don’t want my rotten attitude. And don’t call me little boy.
After saying those words, he walked away.
Jane: Don’t little kids have to be all kind and cute and not sensitive? That should be their role.
Claire: Stop thinking about him Jane. Even little kids have prides too you know.
Jane: You speak so calmly. Oh no Claire! Have you been hit so hard that you’ve become like an angel or something with wings now? What will I explain to Satan?!
Claire: Shut up! Well you know, she (step mom) really does look like Satan without make up.
