Heat
Jordan was in bad shape. Two of his six accomplices were down. They have managed to annihilate resistance among the hostages. The police thought the terrorists’ demands arbitrary. They only choice for them now was to keep holding off the S.WA.T. teams waves. They were very brazen. They cared not what happened. They would serve a life in prison anyway.
A smoke grenade flew in through a window and the entire room was filled with smoke. It was a catalyst for chaos. The hostages were coughing and screaming. Jordan silenced them with several rounds from his gun. They were too afraid to talk. The smoke was to facilitate unrest in the hostages. But the rowdy group was far from incorrigible for Jordan. He had the power. They were taped to chairs and had no cell phones. There was latent rebellion in the room. The group was getting unhappy.
Jordan’s militants informed him that the police would speak to his through a walkie-talkie. Jordan was very morose and this brightened his mood slightly. While Jordan was talking with the police, he realized he was not safe. He moved into a room with almost completely opaque windows so the police could not see him. The man Jordan was speaking with was paramount among his comrades. He had authority, the sole thing Jordan wanted. Jordan had no time to prattle so he listed off his demands. Every ten minutes they weren’t met, a hostage would be killed. The officer tried to rebut what had been said, but he was cut off. The next man on the line was chief of the S.W.A.T. team. He reprimanded his decision and informed him if he gave up now he wouldn’t face the consequences. Jordan said there was no turning back, and cut off the conversation.
He forced several hostages into servitude by having them build a slapdash barricade out of desks and chairs. After they were done, the room felt very stagnant, waiting for what would inevitably happen next. The S.W.A.T. team was banging on the door, but couldn’t get it. They planted explosives on the door and managed a breach but it would take several minutes to get through the barricade. They decided to blow a hole through a thin wall. After the explosion, the team rushed in. The terrorists put up a fight, but in the end, the succumbed to the S.W.A.T. team and their power. The hostages were led in a mass exodus of the building. The terrorists were all killed, because that is what the deserved.
