Ancient history.

I gave him what he wanted. When given noticed that his eyes filled with tears. He was silent a long time, until at last he mastered his emotion, and laughing, or pretending to laugh like a child going to tell a story, began:

– “Are you for good I know and ill tell …”

“Are you for, well know, y. .. ill tell me “… it was me chirriquitina … so … as the rose. I have good memories, all I remember, but I think I see things in that time and between shadow and substance of a dark street …. Many years ago! I remember we lived in a big city, I wonder if in Puebla or Mexico. Perhaps in Mexico, because the buildings were beautiful and high, and from the balcony I saw many cars coming and going.

We were certainly in poverty, sometimes asking me bread and there was no bread for me. My mother, God rest in the sky, hugged me and was put to mourn: “Lilly, ‘he told me God will give us bread, we ask.” And I would kneel, and I was praying, with hands clasped on his chest, like an angel of those who saw the other day in the chapel of San Antonio.

My father was military, was always in war, or conspiracy, and therefore his enemies, the opposite party, death haunted him.
