Our little miniature horse and his friend.
Little Bit, that is what we call him or Little Sh__ depending on how he is acting at the time. Little Bit is a black and white miniature horse that was given to us by a couple who are getting out of the mini biz. The only mini horses I had ever seen were those sad little ones at the pony rides. This little guy however is a spitfire. When we first turned him out in the pasture with the rest of our herd I was terrified he was going to get stomped and kicked to death. But fortunately for him our Arabian gelding Lubia decided to be his protector. If any of the others try to chase or kick at him Lubia gets in between them. Those two are hilarious to watch. My husband and I were sitting outside one evening watching them and Little Bit walked over and bit Lubia on the ear when he did Lubia rolled catching him with his legs and flipped him over the top. They rolled around like that for about five minutes nipping and biting each other then suddenly jumped up and the chase was on one chasing the other then vise versa for another ten minutes. I told my husband they had been watching the dogs to much because that is exactly what it reminded me of. I am going to start his training soon and I think he will do quite well because he loves to show off. I hope you enjoyed this little story. Horses are wonderful creatures and thier individual personalities are a treat to watch. In case you are wondering why I find this so amazing it is because I did not grow up around horses like almost everyone else in Texas. I am new to this and am enjoying it emensley.
