A Fictional story on how cheese was discovered.

Long time ago, men used to eat meat from their hunt.  Then they learned that they could eat fruits, berries and vegetables.

After that, they learned to farm.  Around that time there was a tribe who ate only vegetables.  One day they came across a trapped buffalo and found that they could get milk from it.

Soon they tried catching other animals and milked them.  After milking the animals, they would release them.  However, it soon became obvious that it was too difficult to keep chasing animals for milk.  So they kept the animals they caught and reared them in their farm.

On one such farm, there was a girl.  She was told to milk their deer.  On that particular day, she managed to get lots of milk.  When she tried bringing the pail home, it was too heavy.  After trying a few times, she gave up.  She wanted to get help but soon forgot about it.

A few days later, her brother entered the barn.  As soon as he opened the door to the barn, he was greeted by a very pungent smell.  He found the pail with the milk but it looked like jelly and was covered with green and brown mold.  He was hungry and proceeded to scoop some of the glob ate it.

He liked the taste and got the rest of the family to try it.  They decided to name this new discovery and after long time came up with the name cheese because of the strong smell that made them go “Jeeze”.
