A hilarious story about a mouse (myself kind of). This story is of course fictional seeing as I’m not a mouse.
I have long teeth and medium sized ears. I am very small and I have a long, fur less tail. I like to scare people a lot and cats seem to like me almost too much. I am a mouse. I love cheese and I also like sweet stuff. Cakes, sweets, chocolate; anything sweet that comes my way gets eaten. When I go and try to steal something from the kitchen cupboard I always find the cat waiting for me, tail twitching and ears laid back into his skull. He loves me so much! He’s always dreaming how he’s going to manage to hug me…I mean kill me. I, from the other hand am always dreaming how I’m going to steal my next dinner….and I always manage! Last week I saw the mistress put a lot of creamy cupcakes on a tray and into the fridge. She put on her coat and grabbed her umbrella and left. The cat on the other hand fell asleep dreaming and twitching. And while the cat was sweetly lost in the land of dreams I took the chance to steal a cupcake. As it was I was extremely lucky. The mistress had by mistake dropped a cupcake on the floor and the cat hadn’t noticed it! I licked my lips in anticipation of the delicious creamy meal I would soon be eating. I dashed out, grabbed the cupcake and ran as fast as I could back to my hole because the cat was stirring uneasily, as if he knew something was wrong. I had a problem fitting the cupcake through the hole but a lick from here and bite from there and it slid in smoothly. That day I made a party but as the day wore on I got a huge stomach ache. The cat who is always sitting near the hole came to investigate the strange burp-like sounds that began to issue from inside the hole. Poor cat. I kind of felt sorry for him. As I peered up into his face to see how he fared with the smell and noise I saw him looking a little staggered. Poor kitty!
