A funny Short story about Mondays.

The journey was difficult this morning, Mondays always are, struggling to find something to wear, I keep brushing my hair, but there is that one curl that doesn’t seem to want to stay in place. I stood there looking at the bead as though the sheets and the blankets would turn themselves back. The shower I just took just left me wet, when the whole purpose of my shower was to wake my cranky butt up.

Mondays always makes me grit my teeth and mumble words under my breath. Well I finally got dressed and I have my mouth smelling like a ‘York Peppermint Patty’, I think I’ll head downstairs, grab the keys and crank up the car. It wouldn’t be to anyone’s advantage if I drove to work in a cold car, “I hate the cold”, and besides by the time I arrive at work after being in a cold car, I think it best if no one spoke to me, until after I’ve had my coffee. God the next time, well if there is a next time, could you please give us a 3 day weekend, because I hate Mondays.

so cute, and know what, few months ago, i wrote a poem about “Mondays” also, and coincidentally, I also used Garfield pic… as we know Garfield hates Monday very much.

of course not, I am just excited so mentioned it. It’s impossible as mine was just a funny poem, totally different with yours. Don’t be mistaken instead.

Mondays are hardest days of the week. Well expressed especially the picture of the dog. Fridays are great days of promise of course.

LOL…you poor thing! get a job working Saturdays and have Monday off… But well I guess then that Tuesday would become Monday!:-))))))

I enjoyed it. I hate Mondays too. The weekend comes so fast and then it is time to start the week all over again.
