I just want you to try…

We all know that long distance relationships take a lot of work. Hell, of course any relationship takes plenty of time and effort if you want it to work, therefore long distances relationships take even more! If one person seems to be trying a lot more than the other partner, how will it ever work? (This is the question that is stuck running through my mind). Communication is the key to a successful relationship, therefore when one person is showing a MAJOR lack of communication, the relationship seems hopeless.

I am feeling hopeless right now and quite frankly, I am tired of trying so god damn hard and feeling like I am not worth any amount of effort on his part. When you don’t even talk to your girlfriend for three days, it doesn’t feel like she has a boyfriend, just a tip!… So I am going on about communication and people may be wondering, “Has she told him she is feeling this way?” Well I told him that I feel like we hardly talk anymore and that we talked a lot more before we were dating, he apologized and since hasn’t tried to talk to me more often, as I had hoped. He is very busy with training, I will give him that, however I am busy with work as well, but I always try to talk to him in the evenings. I get two and three word answers, which is my biggest pet peeve. I have told him this as well.

I guess what I am feeling doesn’t really matter to him. Nothing has changed. I don’t feel wanted or loved or anything of those things you are supposed to feel when you are in a relationship. L I don’t feel anything but hurt and annoyed lately. I thought writing about it would help me figure something out, but I have discovered nothing so far. Hopefully he can come home this weekend, so we can actually talk in person and I can ask him if he really wants to be with me. It sure doesn’t seem like it. He used to put a lot more effort into us, especially when we were just friends.
