It was sunday when my aunt arrive from the province because of the seminar held by the DEPED. They were 7 teachers choosen to come to manila for that mentioned seminar. One of the teacher suggested to buy something in the mall and also for a bit of relaxation. To make the story short they went to the largest mall in manila it was in SM Makati. They were so excited seeing those things around especially the new styles of fashions for ladies.After few hours of roaming around they go upstairs to look for ladies shoes because shoes were located at the third floor. Everyone got busy fitting the shoes and when they got tired they decided to have some snacks. My Aunt was uneasy and she was grabbing the hands of her co teacher to go back to the stairs they actually pass through. Then everyone ask her why?,she pointed her feet, she was barefooted, she told them that when they went up from the escalator she take off her shoes as it was our customed that when we go inside the house we take off our shoes. 

It was just a shame, everyone look at her they were with mixed feelings to laugh or pity for her ignorance, it was really her first time to go to big malls and even going to big cities. Sometimes even if we do not know we should be observant to what others do too.
