Clelia resigned herself, she had not seen Fabrizio she still hoped that it would not come to this party. Fabrizio turned his head: she did not recognize him because he was so changed. First she said, “Here’s someone who looks like him, it will be his older brother, but I thought a few years older than him, and he is a man of forty.” All Suddenly she recognized a movement of the mouth. “The poor, he suffered” she said to herself, and she bowed her head crushed by pain, not to be faithful to his vow. His heart was moved by pity. “That was far from having the air after nine months in prison!” She looked over, but not exactly turn the eyes of his hand, she saw all his movements.
But the Marquis Crescenzi was greatly annoyed to see his wife relegated as far from the throne, the whole evening had been held to persuade a lady sitting three chairs of the princess, and whose husband had bond money it would do well to change places with the Marquise. The poor woman strong, as was natural, he sought the husband debtor, which was heard at the half the sad voice of reason, and finally the Marquis had the pleasure of eating the exchange, he sought his wife.
