One week after the attack, in our underground city, many changes are occurring. The first change is that we are able to manufacture the enemy’s weapons. Second we have been able to amass a large army. Third we have equipped all of the troops with better equipment.

I have been promoted to a general. As a general I get doubled rations and a larger more luxurious house. On that day I received a letter. When I had read the letter, I was very surprised. It said that I was needed urgently at the barracks. I rushed off towards the barracks. As I entered the barracks I was led into a room. Once inside I found all the other generals seated, I was motioned to take a seat by one of them.

“General Mike” one of them said “do you know what is directly above the city?” I shock my head.

“An alien out post” they all replied. “Why am I here?” I asked.

One of them yelled “you are here to eliminate them!” I was given some papers, “these are the mission briefing, go ahead and read them.” The papers said that I would be leading a massive attack on the alien out post, before the attack I would be assigned to heavy training.

Over the next few weeks, I was trained to use a variety of different weapons, and to create a plan of attack. My plan was to create a ramp to the surface and blow up the earth that separates us from the surface.

When the day of attack had come the whole army had gathered on the ramp. Three and a halve tonne of explosives were going to be used to blow up the dirt. Then it was all detonated, a giant hole had been created.

“Attack” was the only order that I gave out.

Both sides fought without mercy, the aliens had to tactic, while we tried to take them out one at a time. Finally we had defeated them all the enemy structures were pulled down.

After the battle field had been cleaned up, we began to construct a settlement, but if it is attacked we will retreat.
