About a young girl who befriends a talking Unicorn, and travels to the make-believe land of Felanzia.

“Ellie, Ellie look at this ! look how fast I am riding my new bike, I’m getting better and better Dad will be so happy !” Isabella said. “Yeah, great” replied Isabella’s big sister Ellie. It was Isabella’s fifth birthday and she had been given a brand new pink and silver bike of mom and dad. She loved it, especially as she had recently learnt to ride without stabilizers. Her nine year old sister Ellie was not impressed, and even though she would not admit it Ellie was very jealous.

Just then it suddenly started to rain, but the sun kept shining. “Ellie, Isabella come in please its starting to rain and dinner will be ready in a minute” Mom said. “Oh Mom do I have to” said Isabella, “I’m coming in now anyway, this is boring watching miss goody two shoes on her new bike” said Ellie spitefully. Isabella watched Ellie disappear into the house. She was so disappointed, she had only played on her bike for twenty minutes at least, and now she had to go in. It was so unfair. Just as Isabella was about to turn around and reluctantly go inside, she noticed something strange had started to happen.

A rainbow had started to appear, but this was no ordinary rainbow. Instead of the rainbow being high up in the clouds, the rainbow began on ground level, on the grass that Isabella stood on. It appeared that this rainbow was solid, that you could even touch the rainbow. Isabella walked over curiously to the rainbow, and, hesitantly held out her hand, not sure whether she should touch this solid block of red colour in front of her. Above the red block of colour was a yellow block, and above that block was a green block, and above that one was a pink block. Isabella was amazed, the rainbow continued higher, and higher and higher towards the sky.

Isabella rubbed her eyes and closed them for 5 seconds. She counted 5 in her head, and thought to herself “I must be dreaming”. She opened her eyes, but the rainbow was still there ! “Oh my gosh, its real !” she said out loud. Isabella turned to look back towards the house to see if Mom and Ellie could see the rainbow. “Mom, Ellie quick, come and look at this” she said but nobody answered. This was so bizarre, Isabella didn’t know whether to go back into the house and get Mom, but being a curious little girl she decided she had to explore this magical rainbow.
