Have you ever asked yourselves does anything worth to see a simple smile on the face of your child? Well, I have the answer for you.
In the past couple of months my daughter has been participating in a children’s draw for a teddy bear. The contest was simple – eat a cake in the form of a bear and send the code stamped on the packing back to the manufacturer so that you prove you’ve bought the cake. We could buy and eat as many as we could, there was no limitation of the number of codes to send in order to participate in the tombola. My daughter heard about the draw in the kindergarten and every single day she kept asking me to buy her the little cake and send the code. She wanted to win a teddy bear so desperately that even when I had no money at all, I borrowed and managed to buy another cake. I couldn’t stand the sad look on her face every time she saw other children to eat bear cakes. So I just couldn’t say NO.
In the beginning of October the raffle was shutdown and the winners were announced.
It wasn’t a surprize for me when the manufacturer called us to announce we have won a teddy bear. After all, my daughter had eaten so many cakes that de facto and practically we have “bought” the teddy bear may be a hundred times. The prizes were two types of teddy bears – a cook and a firefighter. Unfortunately we couldn’t choose what type to receive, the rules of the draw were strict – whatever tha manufacturer sends you:

The cook The firefighter
