Jimmy and faithful fun Buck, The dog that loves to chase the bird and the duck, the attention and love grows,as does their luck, they have a new friend and to the beach they will truck.

Well now at the beach with Buck and Chad and Jimmy, the fun was unfolding, The boys brought Frisbees and balls and boogie boards, and drinks. The boys played for hours in that California sun, at PB, Pacific Beach for those of you from other places, they played with all the other kids, splashing around for hours, Buck was an amazing swimmer, but under Crystal Pier, A rip current was coming in so the San Diego lifeguards warned the boys and the other kids to come in out of the water, but not before Buck chased a seal swimming northward and even tried to ride a boogie board, staying up for about twenty seconds one time. So the boys and Buck walked up to the pier and bought some fish tacos and waited for Bo Jack’s Express to come back, talking to people fishing of the pier, and feeling the water spray up in their face, while Buck was wagging his tail and meeting new friends and licking new faces and everybody loved that dog.

All the new friends the boys made that day and even the lifeguards made Jimmy and Chad promise to come back soon with that wonderful dog. Buck was a pure joy to everyone he met. That wonderful pup never forgot a face, or a place, so polite and full of grace, and offered his paw in friendship to everyone he met, and would speak whenever asked, what a great pet. Even his love to play with other dogs was fun to watch.

Well the boys promised every one they would be back soon, and said ther goodbye’s. The Bo Jack Express was soon to arrive. Bo Jack had been giving a tour of the town today, and promised to pick up the boys on the way back today. So on the trip homeward bound, they were back on their way, They had a lot of fun at the beach this great summer day, filled with lots of swimming and smiles, wagging tails and play. So tune in for the next journey of the boy and his dog, next time they might go down to Padre Dam and sit and go fishing on a big log. They will watch the water run, on another lazy day of fun, Buck might get out in the open, and everybody knows, retrievers love to run.

Just for fun and giggles, all along the way, Jimmy might walk and run along the riverbed, and with the ducks let Buck play. So for now farewell, and we are wishing you well, until the next time we meet ,and have another story to tell. Again, I hope this story will sell, it’s time to go now, Bo Jack’s ringing the magical train’s bell. Fear not friends, before they go, I’ll give you all a good yell. We can share some more laughter, a good time, even a good smell. As my writing mind grows, I’m learning that more I must tell. So hang in, relax no need to excel in a couple of more days, a new tail I’ll tell.

Bo Jack Express, now that’s what I call using the imagination! Nothing like a trip to the seaside.

Getting better, keep working on it. I like the Bo Jack Express. Maybe you should write a short story about a trip on the Bo Jack Express. I will read more later, I have to get ready for work now.

    Later, Pam

Definitely getting better. Not quite sure of the Bo Jack Express. Are you crossing your personal genres?

This is quite nice and optimistic. A kind of nostalgic wistfulness permeates every phrase. The story reminds me of what is/was like to be a 12 year old, and to great effect.

    Truly good.

The strength of the bond between man and dog is something else.

Not really,Darren,I needed to get the boys and the dog to the beach, and wanted them to be off having fun by themselves, and you can’t take a dog on the bus here.So yeah,I crossed over a little bit,but have a new trick up my sleeve for next time.
Thanks everybody.Jimmy,it can be you if you want.

Believe it or not, I took a vacation in Pacific Beach once. I loved it. Buck remids me a lot of a dog my son had. Best dog you\\\’d ever want to meet. Great story.
