A story about a person called John, who develops a passion for writing.
John was stumped for ideas, so he re-considered some of his previous ones. YouTube and Rewards Central weren’t really to his liking, rewards central gave little cash and YouTube was no guarantee, so he thought about triond. He wrote 5 articles for it, and started to enjoy it. He was writing about health and guides, they seemed to attract a lot of views. As he wrote more, he became to become hooked.
He continued writing, passing milestones. He even reduced his working time back to the usual 9 to 9, for more writing time. He wasn’t just doing it for the money now; he was doing it for fun. He had a passion for writing now, he loved it.
He continued writing, writing at least 3 hours a day. He had just passed the 500 article milestone. He was earning around $8 a day on average. He told himself that when he reached the 1000 milestone for amount of pieces, he would cut down his work hours from 9 to 6. He loved writing.
He did exactly that, when he reached the 1000 articles milestone, he reduced his work hours. He was semi-dependant on his triond earnings now. Writing around 5 hours a day now, spending 20 minutes on each piece, he was making around 15 articles a day. After a few months, he reached the 1,500 milestone, and further cut down his work hours.
It was a bit risky, if something happened to triond, he wouldn’t have enough money to live by on. He could simply go back to his original work hours, though. He was confident nothing would happen to triond though, it was a stable website, and all the content he wrote was either from experience, online or from books. And he ensures it wasn’t plagiarised.
He was now working from 10 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon, working a mere 6 hours a day now, as opposed to 12, as he was earlier. Triond was amazingly supplying half his income. He couldn’t live without it.
He arrived home at 4:20 on a Monday, still living in his small apartment, which he intending on upgrading from in time. He logged onto triond, and had received a message from the triond company. Apparently, he had been plagiarising work from other websites. He had discovered that all of his work had been deleted, his money taken, and he had to start again. If he was to be caught plagiarising again, he would be issued with a permanent ban.
This couldn’t be right. All his work had been re-written by him. Then it struck him like lighting, he remembered. When he first created his triond account, he only wanted money and copied some work from other websites. That’s where the copied work had come from, triond must’ve only checked the first few pieces he had wrote.
He was shocked. He had been reliant to the internet, which most people fear, and it had made him regret him. Well, there’s not much he could do about it. He doubted triond would listen, and even if they did, they wouldn’t have stored him files somewhere. That’s a pity, because he didn’t either. He submitted his work as he wrote it, didn’t save it. Now, what to do…
