Jonas and the Worm.
Jonas, an above average student, especially in science and biology, (his real bent is towards entomology,) discovers he has a unique opportunity, an ability to actually go and meet the “underground-ers,” and things aren’t going well down there.
Jonas has maintained what some would call an ant farm. But his goes way beyond that, at 10 years old, he’s got ants, slugs, beetle larvae, a snake, spiders, miscellaneous parasites, and of course, Worms. Since as long back as he saw his first “ant-farm,” Jonas was hooked, for reasons he didn’t even understand, but he soon will…
His Dad does farming genetics, and this, coupled with his own inborn obsessions, leads him on an awesome spiritual journey. A journey where he must organize a group (of friends, including his older sister,) that can stop the evil, and keep the balance… Sounds so easy, with merely bugs, right? But not so… When you add in the spiritual nature of these seemingly individual insects, and combine that with the ominous, evil, singular purposes they devise. This becomes a dangerous, daunting, nearly deadly, overwhelming task!
It’s up to Jonas to convince his sister, and three other friends, that he must convince, to set things right, and return the natural balance back to where it was. But who in their right mind believes Jonas can actually “travel” there? And who in there right mind is willing to believe enough, that they too can go there? This battle goes on on many different fronts. Some incredibly “eye-opening” some a leap of faith. And some, because of the peculiarities of “each” of the characters, are intuitive, and just flow.
Lathellia, (theSpirit Worm,) knows this, and knows they must all be involved, lest Jonas has any chance at all…
