In her four years on the show she is described as having been knocked up, abducted, engaged to be married, experienced labour on the London Tube, received psychiatric treatment and posed as Ian Beale’s wife.

No wonder that she is friendly with Lacey Turner, she is still in the bi-polar nightmare in the show.

In a series of programmes her’s was on “Dyslexia & Dawn has always maintained that she has a reading age of 12 and the programme was around addressing that issue and getting her some help.  Ricky Grove also took part and they compared their reading styles and their approach to learning their lines.

Reported 26th March 2009 that Kara’s Eastenders Producer had said that the show had benefited hugely from her & Ricky’s comedy performances, which had been delivered with talent skill & flair. 

Conclusion

I had not realised until Strictly Come Dancing that Kara had been written out, I watched the show more regularly though when she was in it & Ricky was hilarious too, something lacking on a daily basis in the show it seems.  How much more screaming, death and misery do they expect the public to put up with.

Why would they release Kara, she was the best by far actress in she made her character “totally believe able & oozed sex appeal along the way.  Eastenders will be the poor losers, because I am certain now she will have the necessary springboard for a major breakthrough, she would be brilliant in a major film, to hell with the dyslexia, she managed before, she is a true professional & she will deal with that issue.

So finally I would just like to say that I wish Kara huge success in the future & at 27 there is plenty more excitement to come from her in the future and thanks so much for “Dawn Swann” who you played to “Oscar Standard.”
