Three kites are fighting among themselves in the blue sky. Kanai (9) stand behind his brother, Subit (16) watching their blue kite cut by a red one. Several street children are seen running towards the notched kite downstairs. Both Subit and Kanai sit at a corner of the small terrace. They look at each other pensively. A neighbor girl (24) comes to their terrace to collect the wet cloths. Subit looks at her and makes Kanai go downstairs to bring another kite. Kanai runs down. He goes to their living room and gets another bicolor kite. He runs back to the terrace. He finds the terrace empty. The red kite stills reigns in the sky.
