The phone rang twice.  The voice of Koni (24) is overheard on the phone. She says she will be going back to her husband’s place from her parental home tonight at 8:20 PM Krishnanagar Local. She hangs up as soon as she finishes her dialogue.

Pratik (25) stands on the railway platform. The time showing on the digital clock is 9:50 PM. The announcement of 10:00 PM Krishnanagar local is overheard. He looks at his watch. It shows 9:45 PM.

The clock is seen under the table, as the dial glows in darkness. The clock is stuck at 5:30 PM. Pratik’s feet are seen entering from bathroom in towels. He switches on the light. He dresses himself up neatly. The room looks dusty and untidy. He searches for the clock. He looks all around the room, makes the room more untidy. Finally, he finds it under the desk.

Pratik, on rickshaw, looks at the watch. This time the clock is ticking. The time, it shows is 6:15 PM. He thinks about the happy days he and Koni had spent together in his untidy room. He reaches the platform and runs from one end to the other. Finally, he takes a seat on a bench. He buys a cup of tea for himself and takes a sip. He remembers of her Koni getting married to another male. A sharp light falls on his face. The siren of the train is seen.

Pratik stands on the fringes of the platform as the train are seen departing from the platform. A man asks him about the time. He replies. The man looks at him questioningly. He leaves without saying a word to him.

Pratik walks down the over bridge and heads towards the ticket counter. He asks him about the 8:20 PM Krishnanagar Local. The ticket seller looks at him and chuckles. Pratik is shocked.

The flash back in fast motion starts. A clock in Pratik’s hall room shows the time 7:25 PM. Her mother is seen watching television serials. Pratik goes out of his room. He buys a cigarette from a pan shop, where we see in a small clock we see the time. 8:10. He boards on a rickshaw and looks at his watch and sees the time. 6:15 PM. The fast forward paces and a collage of shots are seen of the town. It ends with the digital clock of the platform. It shows 8:20 PM. A train enters and Koni is seen standing at the door, looking out for Pratik. The eyes of Koni drops down. The train leaves.
