This is just a short story I found lying about which I wrote when I was 12 so I decided to upload it to here.
Liar, Liar!
It was the first time I was allowed to go trick or treating without my parents. I was going with one of my best friends William. It was a cold and frosty night. The temperate was definitely under zero. We were dressed in thick and warm clothes. We had bought our bikes. I had silver off road bike and William had a shiny blue off road bike. My bike had a light at the front so I had to lead. We went to trick or treat.
We had been going around getting sweets for about an hour so we decided to go and scare the boarders at school. We cycled to school, we saw Adam and Freddie playing football. The ball had moisture on it from the icy grass, you could see the moon light on it. We didn’t mange to scare them because they heard us cycling. We joined in the game of football. There was no goal. The grass was icy and slippery. It was too dark to see so we used the light on the front of my bike. I slid over and kicked the ball into the lake. The lake had mist rising up of the water and you couldn’t see the ball that well. There was a full moon shining over the trees. We knew that if we got caught we would all get suspended so Freddie ran off up to dorm. The rest of us decided to get the ball out of the lake on the boat.
In the middle of the lake there was an island with a dusty trap door. We decided to open it. It made a loud creaking sound like old floor boards as we opened.
There was nothing there it had been sealed off so we went back to shore. We then went over to the fence to see who could hold onto the electric wire the longest. None off us did it we were too scared. We then saw a light flick on. It seemed as bright as the sun. We had got used to the dark. We then herd this deep voice say something. Then we could hear Freddie. He sounded scared. We opened the door and there he was, Freddie lying on the floor. There was blood coming from is ears and nose. He was dead. He got up and screamed he had played a prank on us. The blood turned out to be tomato juice.
We were going back home now but we needed to get Adam and Freddie back to their dorm. The whole dorm was a sleep. It was totally silent. We had to get them to north dowrm. We went up the fire escape than William and I ran of and left them we herd some shouting from upstairs. We got on the bikes and cycled off as fast as we could. It was defiantly Miss Harrison who was shouting. We had all night to think of a lie.
